For live production, trying to run off an optical drive has its troubles. This has to do with a variety of things, one being the disc drive is not constantly spinning so it usually takes a few seconds to spin up. But really it's a resource hog.
Easy Worship can play the video files from the disc, so it's a matter of finding the right file to play. This last week we were asked to play "Tools for Building" for the marriage conference. So play the disc as normal (most PC's the default is Windows Media Player). Clicking on the title screen, "Tools for Building", look at where the "title" and "chapter" location on the media:

Now we need to go to Windows Explorer and Explorer the disc files. There's usually a video folder to go to and find files ending with VOB. These will also be fairly large. To find the right one, you can usualy see the title, underscore, chapter. In this case we are looking for VTS_06_01.vob or something like that. Arranging the view of the files you can quickly find the right file by sorting by the file name.
It's just a matter of copying that file to the hard drive of the computer and importing it in Easy Worship.
